SCACCHI ORIENTALI
La famiglia dei giochi di scacchi, nel suo sviluppo orientale, genera due delle varianti più note: quella cinese (Xiangqi) e quella giapponese (Shogi). Poichè si tratta di versioni dei nostri stessi scacchi (che potremmo definire "occidentali" o "indo-persiani"), ciò spiega il modesto numero di pubblicazioni che hanno avuto in occidente. Ancor meno per le varianti coreana, thai, birmana, ecc.
